Get to know your Downtown Development Board Members. Meet Paul Lancaster. Paul grew up in Williamsburg, VA but has been in the area for 6 years (the last 10 of which have been in Oconee County.) Paul has a degree in Real Estate from the UGA Terry College of Business and a J.D. from the UGA School of Law. He and his wife Anne have four children and own Farm House Law together, which is a transactional firm focused on residential and commercial real estate. Farm House Law is located in downtown Watkinsville. As lawyers they are very hands-on with each of their client's transactions and strive for their clients to close with comfort and confidence every single time. Paul and Anne work on a referral basis and enjoy assisting their clients.
When Paul isn't working, he enjoys farming and hanging with his family. In fact, he says if he ever had to phone a friend - it would for sure be his wife, Anne. He says she is brilliant and has the strongest moral compass of anyone.
Paul's most favorite thing about Watkinsville is the walkability of downtown, from the courthouse to cuisine. "It is a great resource to be able to pop in and out of our local businesses during the day without having to fight the serious traffic problems they experience in and around Atlanta."
Paul counts it a privilege to serve his local community on the DDA and to bring his years of experience in real estate, both good and bad, to the challenges and opportunities in Watkinsville.
Paul's favorite childhood memories are fishing with his family on early Saturday mornings in the Chesapeake Bay, and his favorite ice cream flavor is Rocky Road because it's like him - a little nutty but yet still a little soft and gooey on the inside!
Thank you, Paul, for your service to Downtown Watkinsville!
